Yoga Classes for Every Age and Ability
Group and individual yoga at Ataha Wellness — whether you're a complete beginner, managing age-related mobility, or just want a consistent practice that actually fits your life.
Who Our Classes Are For
We don't run one generic class for everyone. Sessions are grouped so you're practising alongside people at a similar level, with instruction pitched appropriately.
Complete Beginners
Never done yoga before? Start with fundamentals, no prior experience assumed.
Seniors
Chair yoga and gentle mobility work for balance, joint health, and fall prevention.
Working Professionals
Desk-related stiffness, stress relief, and a practice that fits around your schedule.
Experienced Practitioners
Deepen an existing practice with proper alignment and progression, not just repetition.
What We Teach
Gentle Hatha Yoga
Foundational postures held with attention to alignment and breath — the base most other practice builds on.
Chair Yoga
Seated and chair-supported sequences for seniors or anyone with limited mobility, focused on joint health and balance.
Pranayama & Breathwork
Structured breathing practices for stress relief, better sleep, and general nervous system regulation.
Relaxation & Yoga Nidra
Guided deep relaxation to close out a session and support recovery from daily stress.
Session Formats
Group Classes
Practise together in a small batch at our Somajiguda studio, with individual corrections along the way.
One-on-One Sessions
Fully individual attention — useful if you have a specific goal, condition, or prefer not to practise in a group.
Online Classes
Join live via video call from anywhere, with real-time form correction — not a pre-recorded video.
Why Ataha Wellness
Instructors who actually watch you practise
Small batches mean your instructor can see and correct your form — in studio or on camera — instead of just calling out poses.
Backed by a full wellness team
If something comes up that needs more than yoga — a joint issue, a health condition — we can connect you with our physiotherapy or acupuncture team directly.
Grouped by level, not thrown together
Beginners aren't mixed into advanced flows. You're placed with people practising at a similar level.
Online works just as well
Can't make it to Somajiguda? Our live online classes give you the same real-time attention as being in the room.

Common Questions
Yes. Beginner sessions are built assuming zero prior experience. You're grouped with others at a similar level, not mixed into an advanced class.
Yes — our chair yoga and gentle mobility sessions are specifically designed for seniors, focusing on balance, joint health, and fall prevention rather than intense stretching or strength work.
A yoga mat and comfortable clothing you can move in. For online sessions, you'll also need a phone or laptop with a camera and enough space to stretch your arms out fully.
Our online classes are live, not pre-recorded. The instructor can see you on camera and correct your form in real time, the same way they would in the studio.
Yes. Many people start with one-on-one sessions to build confidence before moving into group classes, or do a mix of both depending on the week.
For pregnancy and postpartum recovery specifically, we recommend our dedicated Prenatal & Postnatal Yoga program instead, which is built around those specific physical needs.
