Yoga for Every Stage of Motherhood
From your first trimester through postpartum recovery — a yoga practice built around what your body is actually going through, guided by instructors trained in prenatal and postnatal care.
Two Very Different Bodies, Two Different Practices
Pregnancy and postpartum recovery ask completely different things of your body. We don't run one generic "mom yoga" class — we run two distinct programs, each built around what's actually happening physically.
Prenatal Yoga
Trimester-appropriate asanas, breathing techniques for labour preparation, and gentle strength work that adapts as your pregnancy progresses — never generic, always modified for where you are.
Postnatal Yoga
Rebuilding core and pelvic floor strength after delivery, addressing diastasis recti, and easing back into movement safely — whether you delivered vaginally or by C-section.

Prenatal Yoga, Built Around Your Trimester
Your body changes month to month during pregnancy, and your practice needs to change with it. We start with an assessment of how far along you are, any complications or precautions your doctor has flagged, and your general fitness background — then build a practice around that, not a fixed video series.
- Modified asanas safe for each trimester, avoiding deep twists, prone poses, and overheating
- Breathing techniques (pranayama) that support labour and reduce pregnancy-related anxiety
- Gentle strength and mobility work for the hips, pelvis, and lower back
- Relaxation and body-awareness practices for better sleep and stress management
- Guidance coordinated with what your obstetrician has advised for your pregnancy
Postnatal Recovery, Not Just a Return to Exercise
Being medically cleared for activity isn't the same as your core and pelvic floor actually being ready for it. Our postnatal yoga program picks up from wherever you are in your recovery — whether that's a few weeks after a vaginal delivery or further along after a C-section — and rebuilds strength in the right order.
- Pelvic floor awareness and gentle activation before any loaded movement
- Diastasis recti–aware sequencing that avoids exercises known to worsen core separation
- C-section–sensitive modifications around the scar site where relevant
- Gradual progression back to fuller-strength practice as your body allows
- Breathwork and relaxation support for the physical and emotional load of early motherhood

Practise Alongside Other Expecting & New Mothers
Small group sessions bring together women at similar stages of pregnancy or postpartum recovery — a chance to practise together, ask questions, and hear from others going through the same thing, alongside your instructor's individual guidance.
These sessions often naturally cover the kind of practical topics that come up in a childbirth education class — breathing for labour, what to expect physically, and early postpartum movement — woven into the practice itself rather than taught separately.

Part of a full women's health team
Your yoga instructor works under the same roof as our pelvic floor physiotherapists and lactation consultants — if something needs more than yoga can address, we can connect you directly.
Not a one-size video series
Every session is guided live, in person or on camera, so your instructor can actually see how you're moving and adjust in real time.

Common Questions
For most healthy pregnancies, yes — when practised with modifications appropriate to your trimester and guided by a certified instructor. We always ask about any precautions your obstetrician has given you and adapt the practice accordingly. If you have specific complications, we'll discuss what's appropriate before your first session.
This varies by individual and by delivery type — vaginal versus C-section recovery timelines differ, and it also depends on how your recovery is going. We'll talk through your specific situation and your doctor's clearance before recommending a start point and starting gently from there.
Yes. Prenatal yoga is often someone's first experience with yoga, and that's completely fine. Sessions are built around gentle, accessible movement rather than assuming prior experience.
Yes, with modifications specific to your scar and recovery stage. We coordinate timing with your surgical recovery and avoid movements that place strain on the incision site until you're ready.
Yes. We're aware of which exercises can worsen abdominal separation and sequence your postnatal practice to avoid them, focusing instead on safe core reconnection work. If you need more targeted rehabilitation, we can also connect you with our postpartum physiotherapy program.
Yes. Our live online prenatal and postnatal sessions are available anywhere. You'll need a mat, a phone or laptop with camera, and enough space to move safely. The instructor watches your form on camera and corrects it in real time, just like in studio.
